IconMasterXP is a versatile PNG/BMP/JPG/* to .ICO converter. Unlike other similar apps, this one converts both-ways, fully supports alpha transparency mask (also known as PNG mask), can create multi-paged icons, has an easy to use batch-processing interface and supports Windows Vista/7/8 icon format. There is also a whole set of special effects (ie. gamma/light/color balance) and geometric operations with supersampling (rotate/resize) which you can use without breaking your alpha transparency mask. Besides 32-bit images, other types are supported (24, 8, 4 and 1 bpp) with editable palette. It is designed for anyone who works with .ICO files from software developers to digital graphic designers. Even if you only seldom work with icons you would quickly come to realize the usefulness of this tool due to its speed and versatility. It can also process photos and other images that have nothing to do with icons - besides .ICO format, it can export and import images in 11 other image formats. You can batch-process photos from your digital camera or graphics for your software or website. IconMasterXP has been a Swiss army knife for many designers from 2005 to now.
